Capture the excitement and glamour of Rome after twilight, when the white monuments contrast the darkness, speeding lights create colorful ribbons, and the mystery of the Eternal city imbues each scene.

In this workshop, participants will be photographing sites and structures both known and undiscovered, while learning new techniques for night shooting. Create the glamorous shots you desire and experience Rome in its nighttime attire.

Focus

This workshop focuses on monuments, architecture and urban landscape. However, if you wish to combine this with the Street Photography workshop, let us know, and we will provide you with the customized hours and price.

Who is this for ?

Hobbyists / amateurs / beginners : Besides showing you the glamour and grandeur of Rome after dark and its world-renowned sites, this workshop provides you a solid understanding of working with your camera with limited lighting to fully capture the mood and ambience of night scenery, with and without the use of the tripod.

Professionals / experienced photographers: This workshop provides you with the “shortcuts” on shooting locations – where to capture the best angles on the top monuments and fountains in the Eternal City. We also provide some great street photography walks between the discover of monuments. Our photographers share information on Rome, and can answer highly technical and logistical questions about photography as well as provide tips for future shooting.

Students: Classes of up to 25 undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to take this workshop. Please inquire about our student and group pricing.

Extras

Each workshop includes a stop for coffee, gelato or pizza (depending on your preferences) at authentic Roman locales.

You may choose to use taxis during this tour to cover more of the City, depending on how much you would like to see.
