ROME PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
MORNING LIGHT
Morning Light
Winter light: 7:00 – 11:00 a.m.
The famous Italian sun rises to greet antiquity and modernity alike as the city wakes up. In this workshop, participants will visit the spots graced by this magnificent morning light and experience the best of the first activities of the Roman day. Discover a city that feels like “yours” in the quiet hours of the morning and witness its transformation as the tour ends during “cafè rush hour”.
Focus
This workshop concentrates on the ancient architecture and collaged urban landscape of the Eternal City, as well as a taste of true street photography when we walk through certain piazzas (squares). In this early-bird tour, participants will have the opportunity to see Rome’s most breath-taking sunrise. The quaint and silent morning will offer you full concentration, enabling you to take the most memorable, signature shots just before rush-hour traffic. Continue your journey through the city as the sun exposes you to distinct lighting and unique shadows.

Who is this for ?
Hobbyists / amateurs / beginners : The early morning light is the ideal time to capture the Eternal City in its most timeless state. We have the monuments “to ourselves” and the sun, allowing for pristine shots and a true sense of history and context. This workshop also provides you a solid understanding of working with your camera to perfectly frame the scenery.
Professionals / experienced photographers: This workshop provides you with the “shortcuts” on shooting locations – where to capture the best angles on the top monuments and fountains in the Eternal City. We also provide some great street photography walks between the discover of monuments. Our photographers share information on Rome, and can answer highly technical and logistical questions about photography as well as provide tips for future shooting.
