I usually do not write reviews but I am about to make an exception because my experience with the photography tours from Rome Photography Workshop were definitely unforgettable!I did 3 tours with them and my guides were exceptional and so accommodating.
Being a newbie with photography I was a bit nervous but both Mauro and Suzanne were so patient with me that I felt completely at ease with them. They personalised the tour for me so it didn’t even feel like those “commercial tours” and more like I was hanging with my friends who just happen to be experts at photography.
Anyone who is in Rome and wants to do a photography tour I would wholeheartedly recommend the Roman Photography Workshop!

He was very friendly and eager to share his trade. His technical knowledge, assisting me with a variety of settings was very helpful. His overall photographic knowledge combined with his in depth knowledge of Rome’s best photo spots made it a very productive tour. I went to places and made photos that I never would have been able to make without him. I even learned some history along the way. I can’t wait to get back home and take a closer look at them.”

My photography workshop with Mauro was awesome. He was an excellent instructor in photography both technically and artistically. He really showed me how to use my camera. Not only how to capture beautiful scenes and buildings, but also how to do it with an artistic flair. Not only was he very knowledgeable and a great instructor but also so friendly that he made the experience a very enjoyable one. As a local he knew Rome very well & the best places to go (not as a tourist but as a photographer) and he gave me a complete run down of the history of every place we went to and even of the places we walked past even if we didn’t stop. I can’t wait to do my night photography workshop in July with Rome Photography Workshops! I would highly recommend Mauro in a photography workshop in Rome.”
