What our clients say about our workshops and photographers
First, I wanted to say I had a fantastic time during two of your workshops. I did the Morning Light and the Evening Light with two different guides. What an educational and revealing day! I would never have found the interesting sites and compositions without these professional photographers, it truly helps to have someone with local knowledge. Both were engaging, helpful and more than willing help expand knowledge. They had incredible knowledge the city they call home Rome, it’s history and people. One of them even got me comfortable with going completely manual in the 4 hours I spent with him. Thanks again.”

Evening Light
I just got home from our time in Rome and wanted to leave a review of the morning light photography workshop we did. It was great! What I got out of four hours with Brian was well worth the price of the workshop. I was nervous going in to it that I wouldn’t have enough experience with my camera, that I wouldn’t get my money’s worth and that the workshop would be led by a person who wasn’t very skilled. None of those concerns were reality! It was wonderful to have a native English speaker in this scenario because I had little (read: no) experience with really using my manual settings. Brian was more than qualified – a film and photography professor in Rome! Brian was a solid teacher, he was patient and I learned so much. I think a person with much more experience than I had coming in to it would have learned a lot too….because his experience in the photography and film field was so deep. He was really easy to get along with and additionally, he got a bachelors in architecture history so his commentary on what I was photographing was insightful. The workshop ended up being way more than I had hoped for. I learned real skills that I can build on, took some beautiful pictures and had four hours of one on one direction in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.”

I used one of your guides in Rome. He was a fantastic photographer and a very nice guy. I am sold on the quality of your tours and the results that they produce.”

Custom Morning Light
It was so much fun and also really instructive. We really enjoyed how Emilie guided us around the city pointing out great places from which to shoot pictures and helping us to take photos from different angles with her creative and careful instruction. She had a lot of wonderful ideas and was also very responsive and receptive to our own questions and interests, including our interest in food photography. We also loved conversing with her about all kinds of things the whole time. She even recommended sites and eateries that we’d be interested in—and her suggestions were right-on!We had a marvelous time. Thanks so much!”–Myra and Stephen
