What our clients say about our workshops and photographers
Brian was a great guide to the Rome sites for evening and night photography. He took us to some of the most beautiful places for photography in Rome, and helped my wife and I get some great photos. He also was a great source of historical knowledge. We would highly recommend Brian, and Rome Photography Workshop, for a photo tour of Rome.”

Custom City Night
I just want to say how very, very happy I am with both workshops that you organized for me. Mauro could not have been nicer, more professional, or more of a pleasure with which to spend time. Both workshops far exceeded my expectations.
I’ve included one of several photos I believe will make, after further refinement, an incredible panorama of the ceiling at Sant’ Andrea della Valle. This is just one of hundreds of great shots that Mauro and Giulio helped me capture.
Rome Photography Workshops is just terrific, and I plan to sing your praises near and far on Facebook and other social media.”

Morning Light
I just got home from our time in Rome and wanted to leave a review of the morning light photography workshop we did. It was great! What I got out of four hours with Brian was well worth the price of the workshop. I was nervous going in to it that I wouldn’t have enough experience with my camera, that I wouldn’t get my money’s worth and that the workshop would be led by a person who wasn’t very skilled. None of those concerns were reality! It was wonderful to have a native English speaker in this scenario because I had little (read: no) experience with really using my manual settings. Brian was more than qualified – a film and photography professor in Rome! Brian was a solid teacher, he was patient and I learned so much. I think a person with much more experience than I had coming in to it would have learned a lot too….because his experience in the photography and film field was so deep. He was really easy to get along with and additionally, he got a bachelors in architecture history so his commentary on what I was photographing was insightful. The workshop ended up being way more than I had hoped for. I learned real skills that I can build on, took some beautiful pictures and had four hours of one on one direction in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.”
